Site update: November 22nd. 2007 Bugbrooke Chapel - where it all began

JEANNI stands for Jesus Army News Networking and Information.

Vital answers to vital questions.

The structure on this site is fairly simple. Click on the page links in the blue table on the left hand side and you will be taken to that page...it will then be shown in red within the table. The 'Challenges' page has further pages which can be accessed by clicking on the horizontal table at the top. These challenges are to Church leaders, to ex members, and to existing members. There is also a page which explains why I believe the Jesus Army has many of the characteristics common to Cults, and my own synopsis of the 'Battlecentre' documentary which was filmed several years ago.

The title of this site, JEANNI, is an inheritance from the past which is probably a bit misleading...it never quite developed in the way in which I originally hoped it would; but for the sake of continuity, I have retained the title.

The main service which this site has provided has been in the personal correspondence I have had with those who have written to me for advice and help: Jesus Army members, relatives, friends and other concerned parties. This service will remain exactly as it was, and my contact information is given in the left hand table, or by clicking here. (Contact Information)
Full confidentiality is (and always has been) guaranteed!

Throughout 2007 I invested a lot of time in trying to compile a series of articles about the Jesus Army. My intention had been to make them available through this site for a nominal fee. This, alas, didn't happen for two reasons:
(1) I needed some time to fine-tune the final texts and, quite simply, didn't manage to get it!
(2) The system I set in place for advertising the service through Google was sabotaged by a complaint that the words 'Jesus Army' are copyright and couldn't be used as search words to direct people to the jeanni site. It's not for me, of course, to speculate on who may have made this complaint, but let's hope that whoever it was didn't think they were defending the Almighty - I somehow think He doesn't need that kind of help!!

The articles that were scheduled for release were:
1. An account of my own involvement with the Jesus Army over the past 30 years, both as a member and as an opponent.
2. An analysis of the Jesus Army's business structure.
3. An analysis of the sexual ideology of the Jesus Army.

These will now remain dormant on my computer, although their content may be released to various interested parties as appropriate.

Please do not hesitate to contact me (preferably by email) with any enquiries you may have. I sincerely hope you will find this website to be both interesting and helpful!
