Intro Home My Story Jesus Army Empire Sexual Attitudes Challenges A Cult? Battle Centre Links

Some years ago now, I wrote the manuscript for a book about all the events in my life that led to me becoming a member of the New Creation Christian Community - and what happened to me in the years after I left. I secured a publishing contract for it but everything 'fell through' when the publishing company was taken over.

Although the details haven't yet been finalised, it now looks as if I'm going to have the opportunity to produce an up-dated version of this book - but it will concentrate exclusively on the Jesus Army and will include contributions from a wide range of sources.

There will also be something, far shorter, which is likely to go to print and get national coverage...I'm currently working on it. (Do please let me know if you feel there is anything that you feel should be included in it!)

In the meantime, I am very happy to make the original manuscript available in its entirety.

There are three options for you to choose from. When you click on the links, a Word document will open up for you in a new window. (These may take quite a long while to download, even with Broadband!.)
  1. Suicide Watch (This includes extracts which describe how the fear of being under the judgement of God led me to become suicidal several years after I'd left the New Creation Christian Community and had been formally 'excommunicated'
  2. The Bugbrooke Years (Extracts that cover the years when I was member of the New Creation Christian Community)
  3. All Things Must Pass (This is the 'full story')

Not everyone will want to read the whole story, I'm sure. But some of the extracts might not make sense on their own. It may help you to know two significant aspects of my teenage years to make sense of it all (i.e. if you don't read the full story):

With this in mind, it should it all just about make sense to you if you go for the extracts rather than the 'Full Monty'. And I hope it will give you a lot to laugh and smile about as well!
